John Rogerson, Chief Executive Officer
John Rogerson was appointed Chief Executive of the Australian Drug Foundation in 2008. John joined the Foundation in October, 1994 as General Manager – Operations and has been Deputy Chief Executive, and Director of Good Sports. Prior to this John worked in the agriculture industry for 10 years, was Director of Public Affairs in the Department of Primary Industries, and founding General Manager of Agmedia, a publishing and advertising company. He has post-graduate qualifications in Business Administration.

Geoff Munro, Policy and Advocacy Director
A former secondary school teacher, Geoff has worked in the drug field for over twenty years specializing in drug prevention and community development for government and non-government services. He has led numerous projects, published on policy and practice in peer reviewed journals and presented papers at conferences, drug summits and parliamentary inquiries. He has convened five International Conferences on Drugs and Young People since 1998 and two Thinking Drinking Conferences in 2005 and 2007. His current role involves policy development and advocacy.

Richard Colbran, Commerical Programs Director
Richard is currently a member of The Foundation’s National Executive. He joined The Foundation in 2004 as the Good Sports NSW State Manager, and was appointed to the newly created national role in November 2008. He was awarded The Australian Drug Foundation Staff Award in 2007. The National Innovation and Sector Support team's responsibilities include the organisation’s research, program development, drug information and speciality settings services. Highlights of this work in recent years have included the AFL and NRL in the development and delivery of alcohol management strategies for both codes.

Maree Sidey, Community Programs Director
Maree has worked across health, education and youth sectors for the past fifteen years. Most recently Maree spent four years as Director of Communications and Public relations at headspace, Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation. Maree was part of the original Executive team and contributed to the establishment of headspace, building its public profile and establishing its original thirty youth health centres across Australia. Maree continues to be passionate about health promotion, program planning and cultural change and is currently the Director of the Community Programs Unit at the Australian Drug Foundation.

Diane Morgan, Culture and Services Director
Diane Morgan is Head of Culture and Services at the Australian Drug Foundation. She began her career in teaching and moved into consulting and leadership roles in the education and welfare sectors before moving to Telstra in Training & Development roles. In 1995 Diane joined GlaxoSmithKline, a leading global Pharmaceutical company, holding senior Human Resources leadership roles in Australasia, United States, Asia Pacific and China. Diane is passionate about high performing teams and their contribution to the culture and organisation development dimensions of organisations.

Julie Rae - Director Information and Research
Julie’s strategic and operational leadership both as a General Manager and Chief Executive with seven years private sector experience and nineteen years’ experience in the local government arena more than equips her to undertake this important role within the ADF. Her many key successes are due to utilising innovative technological solutions to improve and enhance services to the community.

Michael Doery - Chair
Michael Doery joined the Board in 2003 and soon became the Treasurer. He became Chair in December 2009. Michael has been a chartered accountant for over 25 years with much of that time spent with KPMG and predecessor firms in Australia and overseas. He is an Executive Director of Service Stream Ltd, an integrated provider of infrastructure services to the telecommunications and utilities industries. Michael is president of Point Lonsdale Surf lifesaving Club and is a director of various companies.

Philippa Kelly - Treasurer
Philippa Kelly joined the ADF Board in 2009 and took on the role of Treasurer in 2010. Philippa has over 25 years experience in the corporate sector, with a background in law and investment banking. She has held a number of senior executive roles within the property and funds management industry over the past 10 years and is currently Chief Operating Officer at the Juilliard Group.

Patrizia Mercuri
Patrizia Mercuri joined as partner at Lander and Rogers law firm in September 2003 and is attached to the workplace relations and safety group. Ms Mercuri joined the Board in 2004. She has extensive experience in workplace relations law having practised in the area for over 10 years. She also currently lectures on a sessional basis at Monash University in two industrial relations subjects – Industrial and Arbitration. Patrizia joined the Australian Drug Foundation board in 2004.

John Perry
John Perry's involvement in the marketing services industry straddles both the professional and academic worlds. John is currently Managing Director of The Melbourne Furnace, an advertising agency owned by the French-based Havas network, and John is also a lecturer and tutor in Advertising Strategy at RMIT University. John joined the Australian Drug Foundation board in 2006.

Ron Steiner
Ron Steiner is the Group Executive, Customer and Public Relations for McMillan Shakespeare, a listed and innovative financial services company. He has over 30 years experience in management, sport and education, including extensive periods in senior executive roles with Australian Cricket and Australian Rugby. Ron has worked closely with senior executives and senior coaches of Australian companies and teams, and has a range of community interests. Ron joined the Australian Drug Foundation board in 2006.

James Tomkins
James Tomkins OAM joined the Board in November 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance and is currently working with Westpac Private Bank as a Business Development Manager. James is also one of Australia's greatest rowers and one of the original Oarsome Foursome. He is the only rower in history to win world championship titles in every sweep oar event. He has participated in 5 Olympics and has won 3 Gold medals, with his most recent Gold earned at Athens in the coxless pairs. James joined the Australian Drug Foundation board in 2004.

Tanya Chikritzhs
Dr Tanya Chikritzhs is an Associate Professor at the National Drug Research Institute (NDRI), Curtin University where her role is to lead the Alcohol Policy Research team. She has a background in epidemiology and biostatistics, is Principal Investigator for several national projects and has published over 100 peer reviewed journal papers and reports on the epidemiology of alcohol, alcohol policy and related areas. Tanya regularly contributes to discussions in the media on alcohol-related issues and is an advocate for evidence-based alcohol policy.
