Glue and Aerosol Sniffing
-
Very little is known about the long term effects of sniffing
substances such as glue, aerosols and petrol.
-
Abuse of these substances has been known to cause death.
|
|
Effects During Pregnancy
-
Inhaling glues and aerosols during pregnancy can harm the baby.
-
The most likely result will be early labour, a premature baby,
and the associated breathing problems and risk of infection.
|
What You Con Do
-
If you are pregnant and having problems reducing or stopping
your use of aerosols talk to an alcohol and drug counselling
service, or your doctor or midwife.
