Working With Others

Alcohol Policy Coalition

The Australian Drug Foundation is a founding member of the Alcohol Policy Coalition which is a collaboration of health agencies that share a concern about the level of alcohol misuse and its health and social consequences in the community. Other members of the Coalition include VicHealth, Cancer Council Victoria, Heart Foundation Victoria and Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre.

The Coalition believes that finding a solution to the problem of alcohol misuse requires a collective approach from governments, the community, individuals, and the alcohol industry to all play a part. The Coalition's long-term goal is to promote safer drinking cultures in the community.
